Facilities Manager Job Description
Part-Time Non-Exempt
The Facilities Manager will serve as the coordinator for all church facilities and property operations, supporting Meadowbrook Baptist Church’s ministry and activities. The Facilities Manager will oversee ongoing maintenance, emergency repairs, and operation of church buildings and the completion of all maintenance and repairs, whether performed by themselves, a church volunteer, or a contractor. This position reports directly to the Executive Pastor.
Schedule
This is currently a part-time position that requires 20-25 hours per week with pay commensurate with experience. The work schedule may vary based on event demands and allows flexibility in both regular work hours and weekends. This includes Sundays and holidays as needed.

● Proficient in the use of technology to aid in job efficiency (i.e., word processors, spreadsheets, email communication, online calendars, etc.)
● Ability to communicate and work effectively with co-workers, volunteers and contractors.
● Knowledge of budget and contract management, project management, etc. a plus.
● Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Primary Responsibilities and Tasks
● Manage and oversee all church facility maintenance and repairs
● Follow schedules to complete routine and preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records of all maintenance repairs.
● Contact, schedule, meet, and monitor all contractors and vendors, including custodial team and lawn maintenance workers.
● Be available for urgent facility issues.
● Communicate regularly with the Executive Pastor and staff to coordinate schedules and assure readiness of facilities for all activities.
● Provide support for all events and activities such as services, weddings, funerals, Vacation Bible School, etc.
● Develop and manage volunteer facilities teams.
● Maintain vehicle maintenance records, schedule vehicle usage, and prepare vehicles in advance of usage.
● Schedule inspections for buildings, fire alarms, and other areas/items that require inspection.
● Other duties as assigned.
