MEADOWBROOK BAPTIST CHURCH

WHAT TO EXPECT

WHEN YOU ARRIVE ON CAMPUS…

Look for the Visitor parking lot or Visitor spaces just off of Old Robinson Road.  Our main parking lot is located in the back.  Once inside, you will be welcomed by our greeters who will direct you and your family to the right place as well as answer any questions you may have.  In addition, they will offer to show you our adult classrooms or our student/children's ministry areas.  We will have a hot cup of coffee ready for you.

IF YOU HAVE A BABY…

You are welcome to bring your infant into the worship center.  We encourage you to take advantage of our supervised nursery with skilled and loving caregivers.   More information is available at the Welcome Desk in the Children's Building.

IF YOU HAVE PRESCHOOL AGED CHILDREN (up to 4 years old)...

They will love being a part of our Preschool Sunday School.  You are welcome to bring them with you to worship or they can remain in Worship Care where loving caregivers will continue to provide Christ centered care and activities for them.

AS YOU ENTER THE WORSHIP CENTER…

Ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general questions. Should special needs arise during the service, feel free to go to an usher to request assistance.  As a first-time visitor to Meadowbrook, you are our guest, and we would like to get to know you.  We don't expect you to contribute in the offering but would be grateful to know how to contact you.  Please consider completing our Welcome Card and placing it in the offering plate; otherwise, feel free to sit back and relax as the offering plate is passed.

DURING EACH SERVICE...

We welcome our first time guests. We won't point you out, put you on the spot or call you to the front. We will provide you with any information you need and we just ask that you fill out and turn in our welcome card to help us keep record of your visit with us.

OUR WORSHIP SERVICES...

At Meadowbrook, we offer three opportunities for you to worship; 8:30 AM, 9:45 AM and 11:00 AM. Our 8:30 AM service is a traditional style of worship using accompaniment from piano, organ, drums and choir. Our latter two services have contemporary music led by our Worship Team. These services use modern music recreated in a way to allow the songs of our faith to be sung in a way that is relevant to today’s society.  The sermon, delivered by Pastor Cary is relevant, creative and charging.  In all of our worship services, our main focus is that you would come in and be a part of worshiping God, singing to the audience of one.

AFTER THE SERVICE…

You are invited to meet the pastor in the main lobby.  Be sure to stop by our Welcome Center.  We look forward to answering any questions you may have.

HOW DO I GET TO MEADOWBROOK BAPTIST’S CAMPUS?

We are located at 1207 N. Old Robinson Road between Loop 340 and New Road/Garden Dr.  The new University High School is just across the street.  Click here for a map.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Allow 15 minutes, especially if you are checking in children into Sunday School or Worship Care.  Each of the services are about an hour.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

At Meadowbrook, we encourage you to come as you are. In case you are wondering, most people attend wearing business-casual attire. Don't be surprised if you see very few suits and ties, as well as people wearing jeans. God sees our heart and that's what He cares about; it's not about the style of clothing we choose.

We have a Sunday School class for your children of all ages.  This enables parents to attend both a worship service and Small Group Sunday School class.  We offer a safe environment and secure facility with security officers present.  For more information on our Children's Ministry visit MBC Kids.

WHAT IS THE PASTOR’S SERMON STYLE?

Pastor Cary is energetic and passionate about sharing God's Word in a way you can not only understand, but apply today. Pastor Cary teaches the timeless truths of the Bible with clarity, humor and real-life application. His messages are biblical and relevant to today's changing culture, but the message of the Gospel never changes.

WHEN ARE THE SERVICE TIMES?
