WOMEN'S RETREAT 2019  -  Anchored in Truth

A Note from Trae, our Speaker for the weekend:

If we’re not careful, twenty-first century “truth” will affect and infect us all. We get this false notion that truth is adaptable and changeable, that we can supply our own definitions of right and wrong – our own truths. We are easily sucked in to false teaching and fall prey to an easier “truth.” The only safeguard to this kind of relativism is for you and me to be ANCHORED IN TRUTH… to be securely grounded in it (Colossians 1:23), to hide it in our hearts (Psalm 119:11), to treasure it more than daily bread (Job 23:12), to be sanctified by it (John 17:17), to correctly handle it (2 Timothy 2:15), to teach and admonish one another with it (Colossians 3:16), to wield it against the enemy (Ephesians 6:17), and to use it to light our paths (Psalm 119:105), judge the thoughts and attitudes of our hearts (Hebrews 4:12), and thoroughly equip us for every good work as servants of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

I hope you will join us for a weekend of expecting, experiencing, and encountering TRUTH thorough God’s Word! We’ll do this through prayer, meditation, small group discussion, large group teaching, and hands-on Bible study tools. It is my fervent prayer each one of us will leave this weekend better equipped to daily study God’s Word and be fully ANCHORED IN TRUTH. It is my honor and joy to serve you at this year’s retreat!

Housing, Meals, & Snacks:

The Bluffs at Pine Cove is a group of cabins on beautifully landscaped property. We will be staying in rooms that comfortably sleep up to 6. Each room has a variety of bed sizes and a bathroom. All meals are included! This includes dinner on Friday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday; and breakfast on Sunday. The camp has a gourmet coffee shop with beverages for purchase, including bottled water and soft drinks. We also invite you to bring your favorite snack to supply an amazing “grazing table!” YUM!

We have several FUN activities available for your Saturday free time! For an extra fee, you can enjoy horseback riding ($25), ziplining ($15), or massages ($35 for 30 min and $75 for 60 min).
